• Orcas Island, thought by many to be the most beautiful of the islands within the San Juan Archipelago, is located between the mainland of Washington State and British Columbia's Vancouver Island. The 55 square mile island is mostly rural, largely forested and is dominated by 2,500' Mt. Constitution. Residents and visitors enjoy cycling, hiking, boating, clean air, friendly people, beautiful sunsets, starry dark skies, quiet nights, and Moran State Park, rated one of the 10 best state parks in the nation.Orcas Family Health Center (OFHC) is a federally sanctioned Rural Health Center and a 501(c)(3) charitable non-profit. Medical care is provided to everyone without regard to insurance coverage or inability to pay. An immediate need exists for a Board Certified Family Physician for a flexible 3 day week with the strong possibility of becoming permanent. There is no hospital practice and a very low volume of on-call responsibility. Salary, travel expenses, and malpractice insurance will be provided. Contact David C.
