ORCATRAZZ – The Fabulous Swing Band from Orcas Island

Dancers in Motion

2016 OFHC Dinner/Dance/Auction Gala

ORCATRAZZ has been together and playing on Orcas Island since 1995. They play a variety of music from the Big Band era of the 1930’s onward to music you hear on the radio today, all with a “Swing Band” flare.

While the band members may change, the heart and soul remains the same.

This video of the band performing “Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy” is from 2004.

The following audio files of an Orcastrazz performances were recorded at the Brown Bag Concert on July 10, 2013 at the Community Church in Eastsound, Orcas Island, Washington. The Brown Bag Concerts are a tradition on Orcas Is. and are held on Wednesdays at noon throughout the summer months. The events raise funds for music scholarships for island youth.
